Happy Holidays, Smart Voter Subscribers!
I hope you all have had a wonderful close to 2023, and that you are all looking forward to 2024 as much as I am. I’m excited to start writing articles again for the 2024 election cycle.
A quick update on my transition into college:
I joined Duke’s Undergraduate Moot Court Team and traveled to Washington D.C. to compete in October. I'm extremely proud to announce that my partner and I went undefeated in the tournament. It was an incredible team effort. Additionally, I am humbled and honored to have received a top speaker award at the competition. This wouldn't have been possible without the support of my fellow students, coaches, and the dedication we put into preparing for this event.
I’ve joined incredible organizations including the Duke Justice Project, Bridge UNC, Duke American Grand Strategy, UNC HYPE, and TEDxUNC. My extracurriculars build upon the values that Smart Voter instilled in me. It’s both a privilege and a passion to be able to continue the work I care so deeply about.
Attached are two pieces I wrote this past semester for the Duke Undergraduate Law Magazine, Juris. Please reach out with any questions or comments—I would be more than happy to discuss.
Women in an Originalist World: United States v. Rahimi
Reexamining Reproductive Rights: Griswold and Eisenstadt in the Wake of Dobbs
Looking forward to educating myself alongside all of you as we go into 2024.
